Super rich cars such as Aston Martin and Lamborghini and sports utility vehicles like Mahindra's  XUV 500, Scorpio and Toyota Innova have become more expensive after the Budget 2013 announced a hike in customs and excise duties.

The Economic Environment in India has been steadily changing mainly due to the Government policies.As a part of reforms, the Government of India announced new industrial policy in 1991 encouraging Liberalisation,Privatisation & Globalisation.
